Very sharp pruning shears, and very strong and durable! These definitely seem like they will last a very long time. They are very easy to use, cut through stems like butter, and are comfortable to hold while doing it (which is very important for me since I have a bit of carpel tunnel syndrome, so I definitely need good pruning shears that are comfortable and cut easily). I did remove a star became when I first opened the package to remove them I noticed a moist substance on the blades - which smelled like it could be some type of lubricant to help keep them opening and closing smoothly (like greased joints so to speak)- and it may have just leaked out a little being knocked around some going through shipping, even though it was packaged well, and it was fine once I wiped it all off- but I'm hoping it doesn't end up causing any type of long-term affect, which I don't expect it to because it wasn't much and they still work perfectly. I am very happy with these pruning shears. I received these pruning shears free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review - and I rate them 4 out of 5 stars. Everything I've written is 100% my own honest opinion.
