So easy to set up and use, I literally plugged it into my laptop (which didn't come with the DVD/CD drive) and really had to do nothing else but open the door so I could put my DVD in it and it automatically pulls up on the laptop screen for me to hit play. My husband said I wouldn't really need a DVD/CD drive in my laptop - but I have such a large DVD collection - which I tend to watch when going to my stay out of town at other family's homes, so I needed an external DVD/CD drive since my laptop didn't come with an internal drive. This is definitely the external drive to get, because it really is super easy to set up and use, I've had absolutely no issues with it. I also love how the USB cable is easily stored under the drive while not in use - but I do wish the cable was a couple inches longer. I'm very happy with this DVD drive and would recommend it.
