REVIEW - Zilu Power Strip Surge Protector and 4-Port USB Charger (30W/6A Multi-Port Charging Station) for Home / Office (Black)

So here it is, the review i promised about the power strip surge protector I previously posted about that I was super excited to receive for testing.  I received it today - and 3 words, I LOVE IT!!!  I honestly didn't realize I would like something like this as much as I do - but at bedtime, I have to plug in an Ipod Touch, my Iphone 6, my external battery pack for my phone, and my laptop - in addition to that I have my lamp and my babies monitor, and I was using a 6-socket regular surge protector power strip, but when I saw the item in the subject line (which I've included the link for it below), I was interested in it just because it has the 4-port USB chargers along with being a regular power strip.  As soon as I got it, I was able to plug in my Ipod touch, my external battery pack, and the other regular plugs (I have to continue plugging my I6 into the adaptor in the regular sockets, but that's not the power strips fault, it's because I have a Lifeproof charging case on my phone, which I do NOT like, but because it's a $100-130 case, it makes me cringe to think I wouldn't use it after spending that much - but that's another review I'll make later).  But I have cut down now on SO many of the socket usage, and I don't have so many huge USB adapters taking up every socket in my power strip now, nor are they plugged up in all over my bedroom at night (because some of the plugs and adapters are so big, they wouldn't fit in my old power strip on top of the other things I needed to plug in) - so I am COMPLETELY in love with my new Zilu Power Strip Surge Protector and 4-Port USB Charger - and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to EVERYBODY!  You can tell the quality of this product immediately upon taking it out of the package - it is heavy and feels very durable (not some light weight cheap plastic type product).  It has a very sleek design.  If I had to list any downfall, it is a bit wide - but that is so not a deal breaker, for me anyway.  Out of most of the products I've received so far to test, this is by far 1 of my favorites.

Ok, so this post is the first official review on a product I received at a discounted rate (not quite as discounted as I usually prefer - but as badly as I needed this product, I didn't mind since I did receive some kind of discount), so the main reason I'm even willing to leave a review about this product is because I LOVE it!!  I got a Utopia Kitchen knife set, and it is QUALITY!!  The blades are super sharp and sturdy. Most importantly, the handles on the knives are SOLID.  I usually purchase just inexpensive individual steak or cutting knifes - but after getting this product, I WILL be cleaning out my tableware.  I absolutely recommend this knife set!

New product request accepted to review!

So I'm super excited!  I was just accepted to review another product.  So I just ordered a Power Strip Surge Protector and 4-Port USB Charger (30W/6A Multi-Port Charging Station) for Home / Office (Black) from Amazon.  It's normally $30, but to test it and review it, I was able to get it for a HUGE discount!  I'm super excited, and will post an update once I receive it and have tested it out.

Blog is open!!!

Recently, I dove head first into testing and reviewing products!!  I've decided it's time to start my own blog so I can share the reviews here for some of the products I receive.   I've been given the opportunity from so many companies to try their products out, and I hope this blog will help those opportunities grow even more!  I really enjoy learning, and trying new things - and I love sharing with others the awesome products I've found and have tried, and even products that aren't so awesome - so maybe that can even help to prevent others from wasting their time and money.

Now that I've given a little overview about why I've started this blog - I'll tell you a little more about myself.  I'm a 37 (well, I turn 38 next week) stay-at-home mom to 2 kids (ages 9 and almost 2), and I've been married to my husband almost 9 years.  After having my youngest son, I decided to leave my job of almost 3 years (that I had just finally gotten myself back into and settled in after having my 1st child).  After having my son, I got REALLY big into couponing (now let me clarify, I didn't buy 10-20 newspapers and buy 50-60 of the same products like some couponers do - I only got a few of what I needed, along with new products I hadn't tried before, but would ONLY get them if I could get them free, or close to it anyway).  That lead to mystery shopping and crowdsourcing - which has helped to provide for my family for sure!

Then between couponing and crowdsourcing, and finding some amazing websites (as well as a not-so-amazing or 2 websites) that I would be able to get products online for an EXTREMELY low price, or even FREE - and just let me add, I LOOOOVE FREEEEE STUFF!!  So if I need to try or sample out new products and help share information about these products to continue my new hobby and obsession of trying and reviewing products - then I'm ALL IN!!

I just hope that the information I share in this blog will eventually be helpful to somebody - so WELCOME! :)

Now, its time to blog about my new product reviews!  Which I will start in my next post (have to gradually share, as I am doing this between taking care of my 2 kids, couponing, crowdsourcing, mystery shopping, and "shopping" for any new products to review!  But I will be adding a new post every night (maybe more than 1 post at a time if I can squeeze more in) about any new products that I've had to awesome chance to try out!
